Abstract: 
The Antimicrobial Resistance Background Report takes stock of the interventions developed and implemented at institutional level to begin to address the growing problems of antimicrobial resistance and describes the strengths and weaknesses of the health system in the light of the AMR situation in the country This AMR National Strategy Framework also outlines key strategic objectives to slow the development and spread of AMR, and improve patient outcomes through better use of antimicrobials
