The Impact of Organisation and Management Factors on Infection Control in Hospitals: a Scoping Review

Review
Abstract:
The RCN commissioned King’s College London to undertake an independent structured review of the literature regarding organisational factors that impact on HCAIs at ward level. A rapid scoping review sought to identify evidence about organisational and management factors affecting infection control in general hospital settings and we hope this report is a helpful tool for those engaged in tackling HCAIs in hospitals, especially at ward level, and that it brings a little more light and a little less heat to a challenging issue.
