Abstract: 
This toolkit has been developed to improve the information provided for patients across the NHS. It includes guidance on how to produce written information for patients and contains a series of templates. The toolkit has been developed with the Patient Information Forum, The Royal National Institute for the Blind and Plain English Campaign. The toolkit is aimed at anyone who produces written information for NHS patients, their carers, clinical staff and patient advice and liaison services.
