Abstract: 
The Royal College of Nursing, with support from its partners, Nursing Standard, Kimberly Clark and the Infection Control Nurses' Association, has mounted the Wipe it out campaign. The campaign aims to provide health care staff, employers, patients and visitors with resources to promote better and safer practice around MRSA and health care associated infections (HCAIs). The website includes the following posters, which can be downloaded: - - Poster – lifesaving action - Poster – lifesaving equipment - Poster – lifesaving gear - Poster – lifesaving knowledge - Poster – lifesaving team - Poster - visitor - Indwelling devices - Isolation sign - Signposting card This is a high-profile campaign that aims to provide information to help health care staff, employers, patients and visitors in the fight against MRSA and other HCAIs. The RCN are also targeting government with a specific message about what needs to be done to reduce HCAIs.
