Healthcare Improvement Scotland is committed to ensuring that our standards are up-to-date, fit for purpose, and informed by quality evidence and best practice. We consistently assess the currency and validity of our publications, working with stakeholders across health and social care, the third sector and with those who have lived experience. Following this assessment of extant standards, the 2005 Clinical Governance and Risk Management National Standards have been withdrawn from the website.
