Preventing Infection in Care Trainer Programme

The programme provides an opportunity for staff with an education remit working in care homes and adult day care services to enhance their knowledge and skills on infection prevention and control education and support them in implementing this into their local training provision. NHS Education for Scotland (NES) have so far held 8 cohorts of the trainer programme between March 2016 to March 2020. Further information to follow on Cohorts 9 and 10 being held in autumn 2020 and spring 2021.
