Risk assessment on Q fever

Other
Abstract:
Although typically a mild and self-limiting disease, Q fever can cause severe complications. A panel of experts reviewed the best available evidence in order to address issues related to chronic Q fever, transmission through blood transfusion, and risks during pregnancy. This risk assessment was carried out at the request of the European Commission, and in collaboration with the European Food Safety Authority.
